Grounds Maintenance
Facilities and maintenance personnel are responsible for the upkeep and care of the township’s buildings and property.
Anderson Center, Anderson Center Station, Anderson Township Maintenance Garage, Hamilton County Sheriff District 5, Anderson Senior Center, the four Anderson Township fire stations and The Clark Stone House are all maintained by facilities maintenance personnel. Public Works also maintains the landscape of these facilities along with all Anderson Township property including the Beechmont islands, Five Mile medians, along the Five Mile Trail and other trail sites.
Greenspace Inspector Suzanne Clingman assists in the acquisition, inspection and maintenance of the township’s current 72 Greenspace properties. She works in cooperation with the Public Works Department, the Anderson Township Greenspace Committee, various arborists and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office maintaining a safe, natural and essentially undisturbed environment within Anderson’s Greenspace.
Four cemeteries are maintained by the Public Works Department. Those cemeteries are Wolfangel Cemetery on Deaconsbench Court, the Asbury Cemetery on Forest Road, the Rose Hill Cemetery on SR 32, and the Bridges Cemetery, on Bridges Road near Clough Pike. Wolfangel cemetery is still active for burials and arrangements are made through the Public Works Department.
