Recycle Prescription Pill Bottles at Sheriff’s Office

Anderson residents now have a convenient option to recycle unused prescription pill bottles. A prescription pill bottle recycling station has been installed inside the lobby of the Anderson Township District 5 substation of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, 7954 Beechmont Ave. The free service is a project of Anderson’s recycling subcommittee of the Anderson Plan Implementation Committee. UPDATE (2/23/26) Sutton Road Closure – Between Two Mile Road and Eversole Road

Waterline work on Sutton Road continues to progress; however, this winter's snow and cold temperatures impacted the previously posted road closure period. The Hamilton County Engineer's Office has announced that Sutton Road, between Two Mile Road and Eversole Road, will remain CLOSED through March 11, 2026, weather permitting.
