Active Shooter Training

Hamilton County Sheriff’s District #5, Anderson Township offers a free training program to prepare individuals for an active shooter situation or violent attack.

Go from unprepared to empowered with the Active Threat Training course.  Learn the concepts of Run, Hide, Fight, how to address injuries and what to expect from the police response and what to do when officers arrive. 

The Active Threat Training program is free and available to public and private businesses, schools, places of worship, and other locations in Anderson Township. The unique, option-based program focuses on the tactics a person can take to survive or escape during an attack. This is not a traditional self-defense course.
