Ohio Prescription Drug Drop Box Program
Need a place to safely dispose of unneeded or expired prescription drugs? The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office District 5 in Anderson Township now hosts a free prescription drug drop off site inside the district lobby. As part of the Ohio Prescription Drug Drop Box Program, the collection bin will be open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Not accepted at the site are: liquids, ointments, aerosols, inhalers, needles, injection devices or (plastic/glass) bottles
Before arriving please place all pills and tablets into a zip-lock type bag for disposal.
The site was developed in collaboration with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Anderson Township and the Cincinnati Enquirer.
The District 5 station is located at 7954 Beechmont Ave.
