CPR & PAD Program
CPR/AED and First Aid Training
Anderson Township Fire Department offers several options for CPR training. The following classes are taught by American Heart Association (AHA) certified instructors.
Healthcare BLS Provider (Instructor Led)
Healthcare students will learn and practice high-quality CPR for adults/children/infants. Training also covers the use of an AED and relief of foreign body airway obstruction in adults/children/infants.
Cost $50.00 per student (book and certification card)
Healthcare BLS Provider (HeartCode Blended Learning BLS)
This course is a blended learning format that covers the same material as the instructor-led course. Students purchase the online classroom portion from AHA. Upon completion of the online class, the student will take the hands-on training at one of the fire stations. https://shopcpr.heart.org/heartcode-bls
Cost per student (online class fee is determined by AHA)
Cost $10.00 per student for hands-on (certification card)
Heartsaver CPR/AED (Instructor Led – First Aid Optional)
This instructor-led course teaches the layperson how to recognize and treat cardiac arrest and choking for adults, children, and infants. This course also covers the use of an AED.
Cost per student $40.00 CPR/AED or $50.00 CPR/AED/First Aid (book and certification card)
Heartsaver CPR/AED (Blended Learning – First Aid Optional)
This course is a blended learning format that covers the same material as the instructor-led course. Students purchase the online classroom portion from AHA. Upon completion of the online class, the student will take the hands-on training at one of the fire stations.

Friends & Family CPR (No Certification)
This instructor-led course teaches students how to recognize and treat cardiac arrest and choking victims. This class is held the 1st Saturday of each month. CLICK HERE to see schedule.
