After a two-year cancellation due to the pandemic, the Anderson Day Festival is set to return from 4-10 p.m. Saturday, July 30. The festival will be a single-day event packed with great music, more food and drink options, and an expanded game section for kids both young and old.
Hosted at Beech Acres Park, 6910 Salem Road, event partners include Anderson Township, the Anderson Foundation for Parks and Recreation, the Anderson Area Chamber of Commerce, along with the Anderson Park District serving as the event coordinator. Participants are invited to enjoy dinner from one of the many food booths, have a funnel cake, play a few games and even take a chance at pull-tab Bingo. The ever-popular Naked Karate Girls band headlines the event, while the famous Rozzi fireworks show lights up the night sky.
