METRO Community Listening Session Scheduled at Anderson Center
    
    
    
            
    
    
    
    
 The Southwest Ohio Regional Transit Authority is hosting five community listening sessions designed to get community input on how Metro can:
    - Connect      more people to jobs
 
    - Get      more students to education and job training 
 
    - Help      older adults maintain their independence
 
    - Provide      more travel options for people with disabilities
 
    - Consider      the broader transportation needs of the community
 
All feedback from the community listening sessions will be considered by the newly created Metro Futures Task Force, composed of community leaders who will present their findings to the SORTA Board in early 2016. 
Listening sessions will be held on the following dates and locations:
    - Tuesday,      Oct. 13, 9:30 -11 a.m. 
    Clovernook Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired, 7000 Hamilton Ave.      (Rt. 17)
      
    - Friday,      Oct. 16, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. 
    Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County (Main Branch, Tower      Room), 800 Vine St. downtown 
    (all downtown routes) 
      
    - Monday,      Oct. 19, 3-4:30 p.m.
    Anderson Township Center, 7850 Five Mile Rd. (Rt. 24) 
    - Thursday,      Oct. 22, 6:30-8 p.m.
    Green Township Library, 6525 Bridgetown Rd. 
    (No Metro service) 
    - Monday,      Oct. 26, 10:30 a.m.- noon
    Cincinnati-Hamilton County Community Action Agency, 1740 Langdon Farm Rd.      (Rt. 43 Reading)  
Metro will be giving away FREE $10 stored-value cards to the first 50 people who attend and complete a survey during each of the listening sessions.
