Storm Response Update – March 1st - 4pm

Though the severe storms and heavy rain has moved from our area, the National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Anderson Township through 1am tomorrow, Thursday, March 2nd.  Wind gusts possibly exceeding 40mph are possible later today and this evening.  With saturated ground from several inches of rain since yesterday morning, please be on the lookout for uprooted trees, falling items, or downed power lines.

Duke Energy is on site in numerous neighborhoods in our community, as over 5,000 customers were without power in Anderson Township as of earlier this morning.  For more information on outages visit  https://www.duke-energy.com/outages/current-outages-oh-ky.

Residents who are in need of assistance with disaster relief may contact the Red Cross resident hotline at (513) 579-3955 or www.redcross.org.

We appreciate our community’s response to this situation and patience in working with Anderson Township, Hamilton County, Duke and other agencies to address issues resulting from today’s storms and rain.
