Enter Your Favorite Beautiful Place in Anderson Township’s Annual Contest

What beautiful space in Anderson Township have you noticed lately? Each year, Anderson Township’s Betterment and Beautification Committee recognizes places and spaces that have either been improved or represent an outstanding landscape or garden design.

The following categories of nominees are sought this year. Nominations are open until June 6. Awards will be presented in July to businesses, residents or neighborhood groups in the following categories:

  • Nonresidential Garden/Landscape Design-Properties with an outstanding garden/landscape design that enhances the visual quality of our community.
  • Nonresidential, Site Improvement-A commercial property on which a substantial site improvement (new construction, redevelopment, etc.) has been made that has greatly improved the appearance on the property. This award is open to properties on which an improvement has been made in the last two years.
  • Residential Garden/Landscape Design-Residential neighborhoods and their efforts beautifying the entryways or common areas of the subdivision.
  • Private Residential Garden/Landscape Design-Individual private residences and their efforts in beautifying the curb appeal (front areas) of the property.

Each winner will receive a plaque and a yard sign for display.
