Clough Pike Paving Resumes

Today’s forecast for a break in the rainy weather is enabling the Hamilton County Engineer’s Office to begin repaving the portions of Clough Pike that were ground down last week.  Crews are currently working on the section between Eight Mile Road and the Clermont County line.  

This process will continue (weather permitting) tomorrow as paving equipment moves to the second section of Clough (between Berkshire Road and State Road, including State Road from Clough Pike to Wittmeyer). It is anticipated the third section of Clough Pike, the “hill” near SR 32, would be paved next week. 

Please be on alert for traffic delays along Clough Pike over the next week, and especially near these work zones. Also, consider the use of alternate routes as traffic will be maintained to one lane in these areas.

To help ensure the safety of the construction workers as well as the traveling public, motorists should remain alert, reduce their speed and watch for stopped traffic while passing through these areas.
