Beechmont Paving Includes Nighttime Lane Closures

As construction activity draws to a close on Beechmont between the Anderson Towne Center and Asbury Road, as well as near the Eight Mile intersection, final paving activities are underway. Initial driveway repairs will include periodic one lane, short term, daytime closures. 

Beginning Sunday evening, May 13, and continuing over the next two weeks during the hours of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., the resurfacing of these portions of Beechmont will entail one lane closures in both directions. A new striping pattern will be added, including a right turn lane heading westbound on Beechmont to northbound on Eight Mile.   

All work is weather permitting. Motorists are urged to continue to use caution and follow traffic signs, lane markings and signals.
