Beautification Awards

Vote for Your Favorite Beautiful Space in Anderson Know an Anderson Township business, resident or neighborhood common area that has a beautiful landscape? Nominate it for the township’s annual beautification award program!

Anderson’s volunteer-driven Betterment and Beautification Committee recognizes exceptional landscape design, gardens, commercial property and neighborhood common areas in its annual Beautification Awards.

Nominations are due Thursday, June 7, with awards announced in late July.
Award winners will be recognized by a small property sign designating the business, subdivision or residence as a winner.

Categories are:

• Nonresidential Garden/Landscape Design-Properties with an outstanding garden/landscape design that enhances the visual quality of our community.
• Nonresidential, Site Improvement-A nonresidential property on which a substantial site improvement (new construction, redevelopment, etc.) has been made that has greatly improved the appearance on the property. This award is open to properties on which an improvement has been made in the last two years.
• Residential Garden/Landscape Design-Residential neighborhoods and their efforts beautifying their entry ways or common areas of the subdivision.
• Private Residential Garden/Landscape Design-Individual private residences and their efforts in beautifying the curb appeal (front areas) of the property.
