Love a Parade? Celebrate Township’s 225th Anniversary on July 4th!
Anderson Township’s annual Independence Day Parade kicks off at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 4, at the Beechmont fire station, 7954 Beechmont Ave.
Now in its 14th year, the parade unites Anderson in a morning of patriotic fun. About 85 entries are expected this year to celebrate “Anderson Township: 225 Years in the Making!”, this year’s parade theme.
After the parade, the Anderson Towne Center becomes a center of family-oriented activity in the streetscape area. Tour the cruise-in car show, enjoy kids’ games and inflatables, food, demonstrations from student groups, and entertainment by Robin Lacey & DeZydeco.
