Say ‘Bye-Bye’ to Honeysuckle Bushes…

Unhappy with those invasive exotic bush honeysuckles found commonly along roadsides, forest edges and in your own backyard?

You may have personal experience with how these bush honeysuckles rapidly invade, overtake and crowd out native plant species in southern Ohio. They’re aggressive and even release toxic chemicals that prevent other plant species from growing in the vicinity!

The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Forestry has compiled a helpful list of dozens of ways to deal with honeysuckle. Suggestions run from the including the cut and burn method, listings of numerous gadgets that help make the job better and even a “tin can method” that can help you get the job done.
