Trash & Recycling Pickup Delays for Christmas, New Year’s Day

Trash pickup service for both Rumpke and Republic Services will be delayed one day for Christmas and New Year’s Day, with both companies not providing service on December 25 and January 1.

Trash and curbside service will be delayed one day during the rest of the holiday weeks. (Tuesday will move to Wednesday; Wednesday will move to Thursday; Thursday will move to Friday; and Friday will move to Saturday.) Due to an increase in residential trash and recycling volume during the holidays, a two-day delay could occur in some circumstances.

Simple Recycling, the curbside collection program for textiles, will also observe the one day delay in service matching Rumpke’s schedule.
