Public Hearing by Hamilton County Regional Planning
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission on Thursday, November 7, 2019 in the Hamilton County Administration Building, 138 East Court Street, 8th Floor, Cincinnati, OH 45202 at 1:00pm. The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss a revision to the approved Future Land Use Map in Case 1-2019 LUP, for portions of the property located at 1267 and 1279 Eight Mile Road (Book 500, Page 41, Parcels 201, 212, and 213), in Anderson Township, zoned “C” Residence, filed by Carl Hartman, Engineer, on behalf of Eight Mile Properties, LLC and Updated Homes, LLC, property owners. The applicant is requesting a change from “Transitional Mixed Use” and “Single-Family Residence” to “Transitional Residence.”
In the 2016 Comprehensive Plan Update, “Transitional Residence” is defined as “Moderate-density, detached or attached housing and related compatible uses, excluding office, commercial and industrial uses, which provide a transition between single-family residential and other types of development, where such uses will effectively terminate the spread of the high intensity uses and conserve the adjacent residential neighborhoods,” (Page 44, 2016 Anderson Township Comprehensive Plan Update).
