The Law, Bus Safety and You

The Forest Hills Local School District (FHSD), serving Anderson Township and Newtown, operates one of the largest transportation systems in the area.  A fleet of 75 buses transports 5,100 students more than 5,300 miles each day. Transportation is provided to 34 public and private schools with more than 360 runs a day.

To ensure student and motorist safety when driving around school buses that are picking up or dropping off, it’s important to understand the laws, especially since buses make hundreds of stops each day.
