Another Award for Beechmont Plan Implementation
Cincinnati’s design community recently awarded the Downtown Anderson Plan a “Merit Award” for implementation of community planning and landscape architecture for recent streetscape upgrades on Beechmont Avenue.
The Cincinnati Design Awards are named by a nationwide jury of design thought leaders and practitioners for projects submitted by local architecture, interiors, landscape and experiential graphic designers. The plan included the creation of plazas, landscaping, street lighting and other enhancements to create a more "downtown” character as Anderson’s “Main Street.”
In 2017, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, awarded KZF Design as winner of the “Retail Deal of the Year” for the Shoppes at Anderson Towne Center. The site is at the northwest corner of Beechmont and Wolfangel, in the heart of Anderson. It’s home to McAlister’s Deli, Ambiance Nail Salon & Spa, Orangetheory Fitness, Chipotle and Kitchen 1883.
In 2013, the Downtown Anderson Plan also was recognized by Hamilton County for its Planning Award.
