Anderson Township Senior Center Closed

Dear Anderson Township Senior Center Members, 

To help slow the transmission of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and safeguard the health of the entire Anderson Township community, the Anderson Senior Center will be closed between Monday, March 16 and Friday, April 24. 

Even though there are no known cases of COVID-19 at the Senior Center or in Hamilton County, Township officials (in conjunction with CASS and the Council on Aging) believe that temporarily closing the Center is necessary in order to protect the health of those who are at the highest risk of contracting this illness. 

Senior Center trips scheduled to take place between March 16 and April 24 have been cancelled for now. Center staff will reschedule as many of these as possible. The Meals-on-Wheels program and transportation services will continue to operate as usual during this time. 

We appreciate your patience and understanding as this situation continues to evolve. Know that your health and that of our residents is of utmost importance to us. Township officials will continue to closely monitor the COVJD-19 situation and keep you informed of any changes regarding the re­ opening of the Senior Center.
