Earth Day Celebration Ideas

The environmental protection day known as Earth Day celebrates its 50th anniversary on April 22. While Earth Day activities like the annual township Great American Cleanup have been cancelled, there are still ways you can volunteer your time. 

Participate in an informal road cleanup along township roads. Help others by sewing a face mask. Or paint a fire hydrant in your neighborhood! Check out volunteer opportunity information attached. 

Find two patterns for face masks at https://sewmasks4cincy.org/sew-masks/. Masks are being collected at Anderson Center, 7850 Five Mile Road. They can be dropped off in a box as you walk into the front door during weekdays. (The center is closed is temporarily closed on weekends.)
