Resurfacing Process Slated to Begin April 26 on 39 Township Roadways

Spring and warmer weather are on our doorstep. With this, Anderson Township announces its 2021 paving project contractor, Barrett Paving, will be starting road repairs this coming Monday, April 26, weather permitting. 

The first step in the several-part process is removal, or grinding, of the existing surface of the road. Initial paving will then follow and after sewer grates are adjusted, final paving will occur. 

Please note that there will be delays in between grinding and paving.  Construction is anticipated to be completed by late summer to early fall.  Brief delays may be experienced getting in and out of driveways and on-street parking may be periodically prohibited. Improvement funds come from a voter approved 1998 Road & Hike Levy and capital funds in the township’s Tax Increment Financing program.
