Anderson Township Fire and Rescue Holiday Toy Drive

Anderson Township’s Fire and Rescue Department will resume its annual “Stuff the Medic Unit” effort starting November 1. To participate, stop by the Beechmont Fire Station, 7954 Beechmont Ave., with a new, unwrapped toy and place a donation in the ambulance. The ambulance will be decorated and stationed outside so COVID 19 practices can be followed. Donations will be given to Inter Parish Ministry in Newtown. 

Also, for those attending the Anderson Towne Center’s Trick or Treat event from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct., donations will be accepted at that event as well. 

Otherwise, toy donations may also be dropped off at the Newtown (Main Street), Salem Road and Hunley Road stations. Donations will be accepted until December 4.
