I-275 Temporary Overnight Closures

Next week, Duke Energy will replace a portion of high voltage transmission lines over I-275 in Kentucky between I-471 and the Ohio River. This work will result in temporary “rolling roadblocks,” planned in 15-minute intervals in both directions for this section of roadway.

Roadblocks will be implemented between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., on the following three overnight periods: Sunday, Jan. 23 to Monday, Jan. 24; Monday, Jan. 24th to Tuesday, Jan. 25; and Tuesday, Jan. 25 to Wednesday, Jan. 26. 

in the event of inclement weather, this work may also occur on Wednesday, Jan. 26th to Thursday, Jan. 27th.

Please plan accordingly if overnight travel is planned on this section of I-275 next week.
