Winter Storm Update & FAQs
A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for the Anderson area until Friday, Feb. 4th at 7am. Due to the widespread nature of the potential storm, coupled with high levels of ice, lengthy power outages could occur. Difficult driving conditions are likely as well.
Anderson Township has prepared a localized winter guide in the November Anderson Insight’s newsletter. This resource covers important topics such as home and car emergency safety tips, snow emergency levels, “who plows which” road, and the township’s priority for road clearing (which may include delayed treatment of cul-de-sac streets).
Please take a few minutes to prepare and review this key information. Also, please consider not traveling, if possible, to protect yourself and the area emergency services personnel: https://andersontownshipoh.gov/Portals/andersontownship/Documents/News/News%202022/page%206%20%20%20%20%20%2010-11.pdf.
