Get the Dirt on Composting

Kick up your composting pile a notch this spring with a free one-hour seminar designed to increase your composting knowledge. 

Hamilton County Resource offers a series of backyard composting seminars through May. The closest one to Anderson Township is scheduled at California Woods Nature Center at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 14. 

Participants will learn how to balance a compost bin, determine what materials are compostable, and tackle common composting challenges.

Other one-hour classes are scheduled through May, including two virtual offerings.
