April Named as National Child Abuse, Neglect Prevention Month
Anderson Township is urging its citizens to improve the quality of life for all children and families during National Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month.
Township trustees announced the proclamation in their April 2022 regular board meeting, noting that child abuse and neglect is a serious problem affecting all segments of the community. It’s a problem leaving lifelong effects for victims of abuse. Communities must make efforts to promote programs that support children and their families, the proclamation notes.
