July 4th Parade: Bringing Families, Community Together Again
Don’t miss one of Anderson Township’s signature holiday events as the Independence Day Parade returns on Monday, July 4.
Over 65 entrants are slated to take to Beechmont Avenue at 10 a.m. for the spirited walk to the Anderson Towne Center. Included are the Forest Hills School District Turpin-Anderson Drum Line, the Scottish sounds of the Cincinnati Caledonian Pipes and Drum Band and floats and entrants from local businesses and organizations.
The parade kicks off at the Anderson Township Operations Center, 7954 Beechmont Ave. and ends at Forest Road, at the Anderson Towne Center. Beechmont, between Five Mile and Nagel roads, closes to vehicular traffic at 9:30 a.m., so plan accordingly.
Prizes will be awarded for the best entries: Best Neighborhood Display, Best Float, Best Patriotic Display, Best Business Entry and Most Spirited.
