New Class Teaches Unarmed Self-Defense

Learn how unarmed citizens can defend themselves from an attack through a new class sponsored by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. Review your legal rights to defend yourself.

Local deputies from the District 5 substation are launching a five-week intensive class running from 6-8 p.m. Thursdays, March 9- April 6. The free class is conducted at Anderson Center, 7850 Five Mile Road.

The S.A.F.E. (Self-Awareness Defense Fundamental Education) program emphasizes how to survive an initial attack, defend and escape. Class size is limited to those 18 and older and only township residents can participate.

To sign up for the class, contact Deputy Jacqueline Campbell at: jcampbell@AndersonTownshipOH.gov.
