State Route 32 and Eight Mile Road Intersection NOW OPEN!

The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has announced Eight Mile Road reopened at State Road 32, on Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2023 at 11:45a.m.! 

Along with a slightly modified traffic pattern, additional lanes, and longer turn lanes, the other big change is that a new traffic signal is now operational at this intersection.

The upgrade closed Eight Mile at State Road 32 in April, to improve the confusing intersection where there had been a number of crashes. Improvements should ease traffic and increase safety, according to ODOT, and was part of the region’s Eastern Corridor Project
