Holiday Toy Drive Ready for Your Donations

The Anderson Township Fire and Rescue Department invites you to help “Stuff the Medic Unit” to provide holiday toys for Inter Parish Ministries in Mt. Carmel. To participate, stop by the Beechmont Fire Station, 7954 Beechmont Ave., with a new, unwrapped toy and place a donation in the ambulance.

Again this year, the department is collecting non-perishable food items. Last year’s drive netted more than 1,060 toys and non-perishable food items.

Donations may also be dropped off at all Anderson Township Fire and Rescue fire stations: Station 22 in Newtown (7036 Main Street), Station 10 (6211 Salem Road), and Station 101 (6880 Hunley Road).

Donations will be accepted until December 7.
