Drug Take Back on April 26
Anderson Township and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office team up to host a free program addressing this problem through the Drug Enforcement Agency. Safely eliminate unwanted pharmaceuticals and over-the-counter drugs so they will not be disposed of in ways that impact the environment. Bring expired or unwanted medicine to the annual Drug Take Back Day, hosted from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at Anderson Center, 7850 Five Mile Road. Several items are not accepted, including liquids, aerosols, inhalers, needles and bottles. To dispose of pills and tablets, place them in a zip-lock-style bag.
