Be Aware of Road Closures in Anderson

Heavy rainfalls in the Ohio Valley have caused the Ohio and Little Miami rivers to rise, with more rain projected soon.

Due to this issue, the Hamilton County Engineer's Office and the Ohio Department of Transportation anticipate the necessary closure of several Anderson area roadways this weekend. These include portions of Kellogg, Four Mile, and Eight Mile Road, as well as SR 32 near Beechmont Avenue.

Unfortunately, there may also be periodic flash flooding events with waterlogged conditions and predicted heavy rains.

Please keep this in mind with while making your weekend plans.  Anderson Township will continue to share information about road closures and openings on this page and www.AndersonTownshipOH.gov.

Most importantly, always keep in mind that if you encounter a water covered roadway, remember “Turn Around, Don’t Drown!”
