OPEN HOUSE - Copper Ridge Development Proposal

Notice is hereby given that an open house will be held by Alex Betsch, AICP, on behalf of Craig Rassi of Maronda Homes, on behalf of Copper Ridge LLC and Joanne & Walter Haag TR, property owners on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 5:00PM at Anderson Center, 7850 Five Mile Road.  The purpose of this meeting will be to discuss a proposed zone change from “AA Residence” and “AA-CUP” Community Unit Plan to a Community Unit Plan for a proposed planned development of 50 Multi-family units, 120 Single Family Attached Units and 110 Single Family Detached Units, with 63 acres of open space, on the property of 8210 Batavia Rd (Book 500, Page 152, Parcel 1) and adjacent properties of Book 500, Page 164, Parcel 13 and Book 500, Page 83, Parcel 4.

The open house will begin at 5:00pm, with a presentation by the developer at 5:30 PM.  The open house will continue, during which time nearby property owners may discuss the proposal with the applicant and/or staff (all property owners within 200’ of the subject property are notified via mail of this meeting). During the meeting, comments will be taken from attendees and a memorandum will be sent to the applicant, as well as to the Anderson Township Zoning Commission, outlining the issues discussed at the meeting, should a zone change application be filed.
