What’s Next for Former Beech Acres Site?
Anderson Township residents are invited to weigh in on the future of two parcels of land adjacent to Beech Acres Park regarding how the space can best serve the public.
The Anderson Park District, Anderson Township government, and Forest Hills School District are collaborating on a Community Engagement Study to explore future possibilities for approximately 23 acres of land adjacent to Beech Acres Park. This area includes a recently acquired 17-acre parcel and the 6-acre RecPlex site—both formerly part of the Beech Acres Parenting Center.
This joint effort seeks valuable suggestions from Anderson Township residents on ways this property can meet current and future needs. The public survey is part of a series of efforts to gather information, which could include focus groups, open houses and stakeholder interviews.
Visit https://andersonparks.com/community-engagement-study-open-house/ to take the Beech Acres Park Site Survey, or attend the community open house at the Anderson RecPlex on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
