Recycle Your Political Signs After Election!

For the last few months, political signs have dotted the township’s landscape. After November 4, many of them will likely end up in the trash at the curb.

Anderson Township is working with the Cincinnati Recycling & ReUse Hub to offer a way for all temporary signs and metal stakes to be recycled instead of ending up in the landfill.

Volunteers with the Township’s Anderson Plan Implementation Committee’s recycling subcommittee have organized a sign drop-off at the township’s 24/7 Recycling Drop Off Center, 7954 Beechmont Avenue. Look for the signs and bins at the site. One bin is for temporary signs, and the other is for the metal stakes. (Please separate these).

Volunteers will transport the signs and metal stakes to the downtown Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub, which takes hard-to-recycle items and gives them new life.

Thanks to our volunteers and the recycling hub for providing this opportunity, which is not limited to Anderson Township! Signs must be dropped off by December 1.
