I-275 Lane and Ramp Closures – Plan for Alternate Routes!
Two ramp and roadway closures will begin at 8 p.m. THIS SUNDAY EVENING, Nov. 20. The closures will last for three weeks, and weather permitting, will reopen December 21, per the Ohio Department of Transportation.
Closures are:
• One of the two lanes on eastbound I-275, east of the US 52 Exit (#71)
• The ramp from westbound US 52 to eastbound I-275
Also, a COMPLETE CLOSURE of I-275, between Exit 71 (US 52 to New Richmond) and Exit 69 (Five Mile Road), is planned for Monday, Dec. 1,. between midnight and 4 a.m. to facilitate this new travel pattern.
Work involves repairing damaged concrete on I-275 in the slide area, where work has been ongoing since spring.
Please look for alternative routes and plan for delays, since this will particularly impact peak traffic periods, as only one lane will be open. Also, use caution when travelling in this work area.
