METRO Service Returns to Anderson Center Station on Sunday, Dec. 7

After a four-year absence, Anderson Center Station reopens this Sunday, Dec. 7, just in time for winter service.

Located at the lowest level of the parking garage at Vantage at Anderson Towne Center on Five Mile Road, the station serves METRO public transportation.

New METRO schedules and services also begin that day. Routes. 24, 30X, 75X, and 81X will be serviced at the park-and-ride. The facility includes covered parking, restrooms and an indoor waiting area for customers, as well as other amenities.

The Anderson Center Station parking area has been used for overflow parking for Anderson Center events since this past spring. 

Anderson collaborated with private businesses and numerous regional, state, and federal transportation agencies to create the enclosed 125-parking-space facility.
