Help the Hamilton County Engineer’s Office Improve Safety

The Hamilton County Engineer’s Office is leading a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan with partner agencies to improve traffic safety on Hamilton County maintained roads and county/township intersections.  The goal is simple (and important) … reduce serious crashes and work toward eliminating traffic-related fatalities and serious injuries.

You can help by taking a quick survey HERE.

Hamilton County is seeking to identify the safety concerns when traveling on County maintained roadways, and what changes you think would have the greatest impact on road safety?

So, what is a county-maintained roadway?  It’s essentially non-subdivision streets that aren’t marked state highways.  In Anderson, the engineer’s office maintains more than 70 miles of thru roadways such as Clough Pike, Salem Road and Five Mile Road. They are outlined in RED on the map .

Every response will help guide real safety improvements.
