Elstun Connector Project Recognized for Excellence

Anderson Township and its construction and engineering contractors are winners, once again.

Anderson’s newest trail link, the Elstun Connector, took home the prestigious Donald C. Schramm Transportation Improvement Award, from Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the American Society of Highway Engineer’s. This also recognized the township design engineer, Stantec, as well as contractors, Prus Construction and RB Jergens.

The award recognizes the project’s ability to improve efficiency, safety and quality of life.  This key trail connection involved ongoing cooperation across jurisdictions and between public and private partners.

Make a point this spring to get out and enjoy this wonderful addition to the Anderson Trails Program, which begins where the new UDF is being built at Beechmont Avenue and Elstun Road!  Parking is available at near the Skytop Apartments and Big Ash Brewing, along Beechmont Avenue.
