It’s springtime, a season where you may be drowning in plastic pots from all your gardening adventures! If so, there is a way to recycle your unneeded plastic pots locally.
The Anderson Township Recycling Subcommittee is hosting a plastic nursery container collection and swap at the Native Plant Event on Sunday, May 17. The Native Plant Event runs from 1-4 p.m. and will be hosted at the Anderson Township Heritage Center Arboretum, 890 Eight Mile Road.
Pots should be dry and free of any dirt and debris. To encourage reuse, you may take home containers for your garden. Unclaimed pots will be recycled at the Cincinnati Reuse & Recycle Hub. Plastic plant tags also will be collected for recycling.
