Public Hearing will be held by the Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission on Thursday, August 6, 2026

Notice is hereby given that a public meeting will be held by the Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission on Thursday, August 6, 2026 in the Todd B. Portune Center for County Government, 138 E. Court St, Suite #801, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202 at 1pm.  

The purpose of this meeting is a hearing for a Zone Change request in Case 1-2026 Anderson, for the properties of 8210 Batavia Rd, (Book 500, Page 152, Parcel 01), Parcel 13 Batavia Rd (Book 500, Page 164, Parcel 13), Parcel 4 Mt. Carmel Rd. (Book 500, Page 830, Parcel 4) (106.38 acres total), filed by Elanie Hopkins of Bayer Becker, on behalf of Copper Ridge LLC, Walter and Joanne Haag TR, Daniel  and Joyce Mushaben TR, property owners, zoned “AA” Single Family Residence and “AA-CUP” Single Family Residence Community Unit Plan.  

The applicant is requesting a zone change from “AA” and “AA-CUP” to “A-2 CUP” Single Family Residence Community Unit Plan.  The applicant is proposing a total of 249 units, with a density of 2.34 units per acre, which includes a combination of attached and detached units (127 townhomes and 122 single-family).  The applicant is also proposing 61.04 acres of open space (57.4%), which includes approximately 37.7 acres (35.4%) of preserved woods.
