Anderson Snow Removal Update

Anderson Township is under a Winter Storm Warning most of Monday, February 16th. Anderson’s Public Works vehicles have been treating our roadways since before dawn this morning to help motorists reach their destinations. To help us clear streets, we request that you please move your cars out of the roadway. Also, we ask for your cooperation by not plowing, shoveling, or blowing snow into the roadway. This can create an unsafe situation, especially with cold temperatures in the forecast that may lead to re-freezing of roadways. It is important to note that not all Anderson roadways are maintained by the township. While Anderson manages more than 120 miles of mainly subdivision streets, Hamilton County maintains 73 miles of thru township roadways, such as Clough, Salem, Eight Mile, etc. The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is responsible for state or U.S. highways, such as SR 32 (Batavia Road), SR 125 (Beechmont Avenue), US 52 and Interstate 275, comprising 19.8 miles. During the winter, ODOT contracts with the Hamilton County Engineer's Office to remove snow on Beechmont Avenue and Batavia Road. Snow removal is truly a TEAM effort in Anderson Township!
