Hamilton County Yard Waste Drop Off Site Reminders

The Yard Trimmings program is off to a great start!

Please help the Hamilton County Recycling and Solid Waste District make the Yard Waste Drop Off Program run as smoothly as possible, by following these two important rules:

1. Material MUST be bundled or bagged (including branches, leaves, brush, etc.). Unbundled material requires too much time to unload increasing wait times for other residents.

• Brown paper bags are preferred. Any plastic or metal containers will be returned to the resident.
• Bundles should not exceed 50 pounds.
• Branches or brush should not be larger than 4 feet in length or 1 foot in diameter.
• Use twine or cotton string to bundle (do not use nylon, metal, or plastic to bundle).
• Site operator reserves the right to not accept unbundled material.

2. All sites are open from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays until November 22, 2015. Dumping of yard trimmings outside of this time is prohibited.
