Jack-O-Lantern Walk

UPDATE: “In case of inclement weather the Jack-O-Lantern Walk will be moved indoors at Anderson Center, please join us!”

Glowing carved pumpkins illuminate the path around Anderson Center Lake in one of Anderson Township’s most popular family events — the Jack-O-Lantern Walk.

The 7th annual walk is a time for families to enjoy an outdoor fall event where children wear their Halloween costumes, view a pumpkin carving contest, share in free refreshments and stroll along a path lit by festive jack-o-lanterns.

The walk is scheduled for 7-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at Anderson Center Lake, 7850 Five Mile Road. Carving contest participants are asked to drop off their entries on the day of the event (October 24) between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the lower level atrium at Anderson Center. Pick up pumpkins
at the center during the day on Sunday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Note: Anderson Township is not responsible for damage to pumpkins.)
