Get Street Smart About Drug Culture

Have you heard the phrases “chasing the rainbow” or “riding the elevator”” Your child probably has. Current drug trends and terminology will be explored in Operation: Street Smart, an adult drug education program presented in Anderson in January.

The free adult drug education program is set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at Anderson Center, 7850 Five Mile Road. It is designed to educate parents, teacher, healthcare workers and others who work with children exposed to the drug culture.

The program is conducted by three current/former undercover detectives, who will arm adults with information aimed at helping in identifying influences of drug culture on children and the many different drugs children face.
