Letter To the Anderson Township Community

On June 9, 2020 the Anderson Township Board of Trustees acted to immediately terminate the employment of Jeffrey Hucker. This decision was based upon a statement by Mr. Hucker in which he threatened physical violence and used a racial slur. This decision was made after completion of a thorough, internal review by Anderson Township in addition to independent criminal investigations conducted by the Pierce Township Police Department and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department, Criminal Investigation Section.

As an organization, Anderson Township Government is firmly committed to treating those whom we serve with respect and dignity.  Over the past few days, we have been engaged with continued discussions on how to raise awareness, as well as speak in a unified voice, that bigotry and discrimination are not and will not be tolerated.

As an organization, Anderson Township Government will continue to hold its employees to the highest moral and ethical standards and reaffirm our ongoing training in the areas of culture and bias.  We expect nothing less than personal growth and development in these areas so that we may continue to provide services which protect and enhance the quality of life for all who live, work, or play in Anderson Township.
