Anderson Mourns Loss of Sheriff’s Deputy Adam McMillan

Anderson Township is in mourning over the loss of one of its sheriff’s deputies. Cpl. Adam McMillan, 42, succumbed today to injuries he received in an auto accident on October 8.

McMillan, who served with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office for 19 years, many of which were in Anderson Township, was on duty when he was involved in a crash with a Metro bus on Beechmont Avenue near Eight Mile Road.

“We cannot fathom the pain that his family is enduring but want them to know that our thoughts are with them. Adam will always be a part of our Anderson Township family. We grieve alongside his brothers and sisters in the Sheriff’s Office and will always hold Adam’s smile in our hearts,” said Township Administrator Vicky Earhart.
