30 Years of Township Greenspace

Are you familiar with Anderson Township’s innovative Greenspace program? It turns 30 years old this month. By a vote of citizens who supported a Greenspace program in 1990 and 1995, Anderson Township has protected almost 700 acres of natural space since 1990. This land cannot be developed and serves as a protected habitat for animals and a natural buffer.

Watch for signs on each of the 68 Greenspace properties celebrating this 30th year anniversary. The temporary signs will highlight these natural areas that help make Anderson Township a great place to live.
