HAMILTON COUNTY, OHIO – The Hamilton County Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency
(EMHSA) will be conducting the regular test of the Outdoor Warning Siren System today, March 1, 2023
at 12:00 p.m. The outdoor warning sirens in Hamilton County are tested the first Wednesday of each month at
noon unless inclement weather is imminent.

Following the monthly test, there will be ongoing maintenance and residents may hear short bursts from
the sirens. This is part of regular Spring maintenance of the siren system.

It is important for members of the public to remember that the Outdoor Warning Sirens are not meant to be heard
indoors. Hamilton County residents should have multiple ways to be notified of severe weather alerts, including
