Independence Day Parade: Bringing Families, Community Together

Don’t miss one of Anderson Township’s signature holiday events as the Independence Day Parade returns on Tuesday, July 4.

More than 65 entrants are slated to take to Beechmont Avenue at 10 a.m. for the spirited walk to the Anderson Towne Center. Included are the Forest Hills School District Turpin-Anderson Drum Line & Color Guard, the Scottish sounds of the Cincinnati Caledonian Pipes and Drum Band and floats and entrants from local businesses and organizations.

The parade kicks off at the Anderson Township Operations Center, 7954 Beechmont Ave. and ends at Forest Road at the Anderson Towne Center. Beechmont Avenue between Five Mile and Nagel roads closes to vehicular traffic at 9:30 a.m., so plan accordingly.

NEW THIS YEAR, a free Kids 1K Fun Run. This pre-parade, free non-competitive run targeted at those age 12 and under, will provide the chance to run down Beechmont! The run begins at 9:45 a.m. with thousands cheering on the runners!

The event begins and ends at the Christ Hospital Outpatient parking lot, 7545 Beechmont Ave. For more information visit https://andersontownshipoh.gov/news-events/news/2023/06/14/kids-1k-fun-run-to-kick-off-independence-day-parade.

Area maps of the route appear below. Additional information for parade participants will be posted on June 27.
